Rolling, sun, allergic reactions to insects, abrasion from riding equipment are just some of the aspects that can contribute to skin problems. The condition of the skin and hair coat not only affect the horse’s appearance, but also its health and behaviour. Severe itching causes irritation, and the horse seeks rescue by scratching at various objects and makes its condition more severe.

Equinox Skin supplementary feed is made from a mixture of cold-pressed vegetable oils rich in omega-3,6,9 fatty acids. The special composition of linseed oil, evening primrose oil, borage oil and blackcurrant seed oil in the form of bioesters makes the product highly absorbable and easily available to the body. Vitamin E contained in esters helps to protect cells against oxidative stress. The omega-3 fatty acid esters contained in the preparation help reduce the level of pro-inflammatory substances and contribute to the improvement of skin and hair conditions.

Feed material: bioesters of omega-3,6 fatty acids derived from oil: linseed, borage, evening primrose, blackcurrant.  100% ethyl esters of higher fatty acids with high content of omega-3 (47% vol.), omega-6 (27% vol.) and omega-9 (26% vol.) fatty acids.
